The EV EKX 18" 1300W Powered Subwoofer delivers deep, powerful low-end performance designed to elevate any professional sound system. Built for concerts, DJs, live events, and large venues, this subwoofer provides tight, punchy bass that you can feel as much as you hear.

Featuring an 18-inch woofer driven by a 1,300-watt Class-D amplifier, the EKX sub produces high-output bass with clarity and consistency. Its rugged wood enclosure, reinforced internals, and tour-ready design ensure reliable performance in demanding environments. Integrated DSP presets allow easy optimization for different setups, while multiple input and output options make system integration simple.

Whether paired with full-range speakers or used as part of a larger PA system, the EV EKX 18" Powered Subwoofer delivers professional-grade sound with authority and precision.

The EKX-18SP Powered 18" Subwoofer from Electro-Voice features a 1300 W class D power amplifier which delivers up to 134 dB peak SPL, and utilizes high-sensitivity EV transducers. The QuickSmartDSP processor has a single-knob user interface, and intuitive menu navigation via LCD. The Cardioid Control Technology allows output to be steered towards the audience with up to 35 dB reduction on stage when multiple subwoofers are deployed. The EKX-18SP incorporates intelligent thermal management (with a variable-speed fan controlled by onboard sensors). This subwoofer features two XLR outputs for system expansion to additional loudspeakers or subwoofers, large slot ports for low distortion and bass extensions, and two metal grille reinforcement bars. It also features an M20 threaded pole mount plate.
