Damage Waiver

Each rental contract includes a mandatory, non-refundable 5% damage waiver. This waiver limits your financial responsibility for repair or replacement of rental equipment that is damaged as a result of normal, acceptable use.

Please note that the damage waiver does not cover missing, stolen, or lost items, nor does it apply to damage resulting from improper use, negligence, vandalism, or lack of proper care. All rental equipment remains the customer’s responsibility from the time of delivery until the time of pickup. Customers are expected to ensure that all items are secured when not in use and protected from weather conditions, irrigation systems, and sprinkler equipment.

The Damage Waiver Covers:

• Damage resulting from normal use, such as minor scratches to tables, chairs, and dance floors
• Soiled linens due to normal food or beverage use
• Tent wear and tear caused by wind, hail, or rain
• Chair collapse due to unintentional excessive weight
• Accidental breakage of glassware from drops or spills

The Damage Waiver Does NOT Cover:

• Missing, stolen, or unreturned items
• Damage caused by negligence (e.g., dance floors flooded by irrigation or sprinklers, wooden items left exposed to rain)
• Linens damaged by burns, candle wax, ink, cuts, tears, or other misuse
• Chairs broken due to improper use, such as being used as ladders or step stools
• Tent damage not caused by weather, including cuts from sharp objects, excessive use of tape, paint, or other human-caused damage
• Theft, vandalism, conversion, or any dishonest act involving the rental items by you, your personnel, or third parties

Please be advised that all policies apply for the entire duration that the equipment is in your possession—from the time it is delivered until the time it is retrieved.
